THE BREAST CENTER AT OHIO VALLEY was awarded the Designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center. The ACR has recognized the Breast Center at Ohio Valley for earning accreditation in Mammography, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy and Breast Ultrasound, and for voluntarily going through a vigorous review process that ensured the OVBC has met nationally-accepted, high practice standards of care in:

• Image Quality
• Personnel that are qualified, through education and certification, to perform medical imaging, interpret images and administer radiation therapy treatments
• Equipment that is appropriate for testing and treatment
• Exceeding quality assurance and safety guidelines
• Quality Control Procedures
• Quality Assurance Programs
